The Garden in June
June is one of the best months in the garden, seedlings have been planted and are starting to grow more and more every day. The bees are buzzing around gathering pollen and nectar while building out their new comb in their frames and starting to gather honey for the upcoming winter season.
My Garden Patio consists of two Dachshund Planters filled with Orange Mint, Chocolate Mint, and Spear Mint.
1st Garden Bed:
Bells of Ireland, Dahlias Bee’s Choice Mix, Peas, Carrots, Garlic, Butter Crunch Butterhead Lettuce, Parris Island Cos Romaine Lettuce Seeds, Lettuce, Arugula, ChickPeas, Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Mexican Sunflowers
2nd Garden Bed:
Bee Balm Lambada, Alliums, Bahama Apricot Dahlias, Lambs Ear, Gladiolus, Bearded Iris, Bleeding Hearts, Hollyhocks, Thyme, Lavender, Oregano, Cilantro, Sage, Rosemary
3rd Garden (New) Raised Bed:
Fox Cherry Tomatoes, Basil, Onions, Beans, Celery, Lettuce, Mesclun Lettuce, Italian Genovese Basil, Mexican Sunflowers, Honey Nut Squash, Marketmore Cucumber, Spacemaster 80 Cucumber, Tasty Green Cucumber, Listada Di Gandia Eggplant, Edible Flower Mix, Velvet Queen Sunflower
Side Garden Bed:
Against my patio I have Zinnias, Cosmos, Butterfly Bush, Tiger Lillies, Peonies, and Sunflowers all growing for the bees.
