Trade Secrets: Day 1

It was quite the day! Despite the pouring rain and freezing cold (much colder than last year), I still managed to troop through the show. However knowing Martha Stewart was going to be there doing a book signing made it all worth it.

With Rain Boots and Rain Coat in tact I walked around looking for my favorite sellers. The were the same suspects as last year mostly in the same spots, but a few new vendors as wel sprinkled in. With the pouring rain, I still managed to get a good amount of goodies to add to my collection!

Despite the rain, I managed to take some great shots through out the morning.

But the real gem of the day was meeting the one and only Martha Stewart. My idol and the queen of all things gardening. Following her brand and blog through out the years, reading her magazine and watching her tv shows, all has really been an inspiration and really how I got into gardening.

In the end the antique and garden sale was very enjoyable, despite the rain and even though the line for pick up was extremely long, it didn’t stop me from enjoying the event.

Onto day 2!
