Holiday Gift Guide 2022
Holiday Gift Guide 2022
It’s another year with another amazing gift guide! For those who have friends or family members who live in the garden or are beekeepers constantly buzzing around, below is a Holiday Gift Guide to suit them all (basically all that I want for Christmas…hint: Mom if you’re reading this)
Handmade by yours truly, it wouldn’t be a gift guide without the Beehive ornament. Available from Kates Honey and made to order via Etsy The Bee Hive Ornament is the perfect Holiday Gift for any Beekeeper or Bee Lover. All ornaments come with a Bee and Wire to hang on the tree. They are also wrapped with a Christmas bow which makes it even easier to gift during this hectic holiday season.
A new page turner for the garden enthusiast is the latest book “From Seed to Bloom” by Milli Proust. Filled with amazing photography and how to’s for those wanting to start a flower garden. Milli goes into detail on how she got started and the lessons learned from her years of experience.
Rain Barrels. Now hear me out, yes why would I gift someone something so bulky or odd? Trust me. The way the weather has been going year over year, it’s bound to get dryer and dryer and with limitations on usage of water in some places, rain gutters is the answer. While they are quite bulky and some what of an eye sore, homeowners can save up on rain water through the spring time to use in those certain times when it’s just too hot out in the summer. Insert Rain Gutters. They’ll thank you, maybe not during the Holidays, but when the times comes. You can plant taller plants such as iris, butterfly bush or roses around them to hide them a bit more if you prefer not to see them.

Storage Tool Box for those who are forgetful. If you’re anything like me you constantly forget at least one tool you didn’t think you needed but ended up needing anyways. You have to stop what you’re doing and walk yourself back to your shed or garage to get it. With a storage tool box that can easily go on the side of your raised bed or beds, this is the perfect solution.

This beautiful hand painted glass has been on my wishlist for awhile. Being in the garden means you encounter many little creatures and friends along the way. Over the years I’ve fallen in love with ladybugs, grasshoppers, moths, butterflies, beetles and even worms. These magnificent beautiful creatures have their own little world and work as one in the garden with each other benefiting the plants and the environment. Not into bugs this much? No worries, this artist, ArtMasha has a variety of many pieces to choose from her etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtMasha?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=850093450
While on the topic of insects, the wise grasshopper is a favorite of mine. I try to add to my ornament collection every year with unique interesting ornaments, and this year it would be Mr. Grasshopper.
